About The Author

I’m David Tomlinson, a CPA. I work in accounting: formerly taxes and now financial. I’ve lived in Colorado since 2008, and I enjoy writing about this lovely state, flaws and all. Despite writing a few dog characters, I don’t actually own one; I’m more of a cat person.

Badges of Fraud is my debut novel. My literary influences and tastes are diverse. Some of my favorite authors include, in no particular order: C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, Louis L’Amour, Max Brand, Arthur Conan Doyle, Michael Crichton, and Terry Brooks. I also enjoy the Star Trek novelizations.

I take inspiration from the world of Dungeons & Dragons, itself a form of interactive storytelling. I’m always playing in some sort of campaign.
